On 4 February, it issued a "Declaration of Jewish Organizations in opposition to BDS." In response to this statement, more than 20 Jewish organizations and activists around the world have published the "Declaration of activists and Jewish organizations active in the BDS against Israel."
We call upon you, to organizations and individuals to join us in signing this

Declaration of Jewish activists and Jewish organizations active in the BDS against Israel
A Jewish response to the Declaration of February Organizations 2011 Jewish Zionist about the Campaign for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel.
Since boycotts, divestment and sanctions academic, cultural and trade to Israel:
are a moral tool of non-violent response to peaceful and more than sixty years of Israeli colonialism, and

- not anti-Semitic. reject the notion that the Palestinian call for BDS 2005 and BDS campaigns around the world that it has inspired, have their roots in anti-Jewish sentiment. By contrast, BDS is an anti-racist movement against the brutal occupation of Palestine and the daily military threat to the region by the State of Israel. False accusations of antisemitism distort the true nature of the Palestinian struggle and are an insult and a betrayal of the long history of Jewish survival and resistance to persecution.
BDS is not anti-democratic.
also reject the assertion that the academic and cultural boycott of Israel defying the democratic principle of freedom of expression. Research and development in academic institutions play a central role in the design and defense of military and intelligence machinery of Israel. Cultural institutions perpetuate the fraud of Israeli democracy. Defending freedom of expression of those who despise justice and demonize those who struggle for justice is a disservice to genuine democracy.through boycott, divestment and sanctions, civil society affirms our commitment not to help finance the State of Israel, carried out heinous acts of disregard for life and human welfare. Attacks BDS campaigns not prevent us from taking this stance against Israeli impunity. For Jewish organizations signing this letter, self-determination includes the right of Jews to participate in the movement for justice in Palestine and live in peace, freedom and equality with our fellow citizens in the world. It does not include the domination and colonization of other people or the right to live separately from our peers in a state that privileges Jews.
BDS has been a key strategy to end the South African system white apartheid through the application of international pressure. In pursuit of justice, peace and freedom for all, we speak as Jews committed to the BDS and the Palestinian liberation. We welcome organizations and individuals who want to join us in condemning the false accusations of anti-Semitism in an attempt to discredit our collective anti-racist activism against the Israeli apartheid.
