For nearly a century, the Palestinian people is in serious existential threat to the facility in his homeland of a colonialist project that led to the partition of Palestine, the creation of the state Israel, a conflict that has been manifested through massacres and wars. Since 1967, in contravention of the law Internationally recognized borders and overwhelming international consensus by the UN, the State of Israel militarily occupied areas of the West Bank, Golan Heights and, since 2006, a strict blockade on the poor population of over a million and a half souls in the small Gaza Strip, declared it block by respected international human rights bodies such as the causing of a "humanitarian disaster." In addition to the blockade, the state government of Israel has ordered the implementation of systematic bombing of the dense region of Gaza's civilian population, having been the most notable of late 2008 and early 2009, which killed about 1400 Palestinians third of them children.
Lately, the government of Israel has intensified the expansion of its colonies on the militarily occupied areas, carrying out the ongoing destruction of family homes, fields, factories, historic buildings and even Palestinians in what appears to be an attempt erase the history of the Palestinian people in their homeland and to conclude the final phase of colonial expansion plan includes the construction of settlements for the Israeli settlers who settled there succulent stimulated by economic benefits. As stated by virtually all international agencies and governments, the expansion of these settlements are the biggest obstacle for conflict resolution and constitute a grave war crime. Result of these colonial practices, Palestine living in a very similar situation to Apartheid that existed in South Africa's "white" end of last century, with walls, fences and checkpoints that Palestinians subjected to imprisonment, loss of job opportunities, study and proper health treatment, humiliation and arbitrary violence on a daily basis.
In this situation, workers around the world, through their organizations and associations, are organizing to promote a campaign of boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) to the State of Israel, and solidarity in response to the call of Palestinian Civil Society 2005 (http://www.bdsmovement.net/). The state of Israel is a regional ally and as such has virtually unconditional protection of U.S. imperialism, a permanent member of the Security Council of the UN, and in several other cases of neo-colonial governments of the European Union. However, there is a growing movement in U.S. society that is being revealed to the traditional policies of the U.S. foreign policy the grant of colonialism and the Israeli occupation (http://www.endtheoccupation.org/). Intra-Jewish population worldwide, there is a growing movement that opposes the occupation and even promotes the BDS as one of the most promising ways to end the Israeli Apartheid, in response to this call non-violent, peaceful, to end the abuses of Palestinian rights, as well as in 90's the world through international pressure, was able to end the segregationist Apartheid in South Africa at that time. Among these Jewish organizations, we have the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network (IJAN, websites in Argentina http://judiosantisionistasargentina.blogspot.com/; http://boicot-desinvercion-sanciones.blogspot.com/).
